We are the Quetzalhuitzilin (Colibrí) group, the name of this group in our mother language is unique and meaningful because Colibrí means beautiful, love, wonderful and a green hummingbird. This small bird has a very strong ancestral symbolism, for instance the Mayan tribe believed that this small bird represents the rebirth of souls.
We are under the blessing of the Holy Cross of the miracle of the holy Spirit from Queretaro Mexico.
We dance in memory of our ancestors who inherited this beautiful tradition. We also dance in honor of our brotherhood, equality and for the peace of the world. Our dance is a prayer to God, and we dance from the bottom of our hearts and from the deepest of our souls to the world.
