On Friday 29 March (GOOD FRIDAY) after Stations of the Cross outside and a mass at Saint Joseph church, we served the Narraganset Clear Clam Chowder along with clam cakes. The event was well attended. It was interesting to see the Stations of the Cross done outside. We made about two hundred dollars which will go for the church expenses.
On Saturday, 13 April there was a Children’s fishing contest sponsored by American legion Post 53 and the Elks Club at the Golden Era golf course pond. There were three girls from Saint Jude Mission Indian Catholic school going. The “Aunties’ are negotiating for the transportation. First prize is a family trip to Disney Land in Anaheim California.
