Veterans & 1st Responders Appreciation Day

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Southern Nevada community gathered at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas to celebrate Military, Veterans & First Responders Appreciation Day.

The annual event, held on Saturday, honored those who serve and protect, including active-duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Attendees enjoyed a day filled with live music, classic cars, local vendors, and family activities. Complimentary meals were provided for military personnel, veterans, and first responders with valid identification.

The day began with a tribute to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and first responders, featuring color guard presentations and special guests.

Highlights included live entertainment, the Vegas Cruisin’ Classic Car Show, a “Battle of the Branches” tug of war hosted by Jeff Leach and Piff the Magic Dragon, and a kids’ activity zone.

Mental health resources and community information booths were also available. Admission was free for all attendees.
