Issue #84, Winter 2026 - March

As we reach the final stretch of the winter quarter, this time of year can bring both pressure and reflection. With finals just around the corner and spring break on the horizon, it’s a moment to recognize the work you’ve put in and the resilience it takes to keep moving forward. The transition into spring quarter also marks the beginning of the final chapter of this academic year, a time filled with new opportunities, growth, and accomplishment. We hope you’re able to take pride in how far you’ve come, find moments of rest and renewal, and carry that energy with you into the season ahead.
Native American & Indigenous Research Symposium
At this year’s Native American and Indigenous Research Symposium, Native students, community members, and campus partners came together to share and celebrate research centered on Native and Indigenous perspectives. Throughout the day, presenters highlighted a wide range of topics, from scientific and academic research to community-centered work, creating space for meaningful dialogue and learning. It was an inspiring gathering that uplifted Native voices, supported student scholarship, and strengthened connections between research, community, and Indigenous ways of knowing.
ITRC's Fallen Star Tour
During our Fallen Star Student Tour, we slowed down for a mindful afternoon spent with friends in community. Together we explored the space, enjoyed the unique views and playful illusions of Fallen Star, and took a moment to reflect on our time as students and where we’re headed next. It was a relaxed and thoughtful outing that gave everyone a chance to connect, reset, and appreciate the moment together.
