The Great KUMEYAAY NATION and the indigenous world bid farewell to a legendary and important cultural communicator.
Danny Tucker moved on Friday, October 24 at the home he shared with his wife, Lori, in El Cajon, leaving behind a legacy of achievements and accomplishments reflecting the positive contribution he made to his heritage and the native business world.
Danny Tucker had true American credentials and reflected and continued the best of our diverse cultural society.
As guardian of a tribal culture that he honored and represented, his leadership skills allowed him to walk and negotiate in multiple worlds. He was at ease and capable whether on the golf links, in a tuxedo or in a boardroom, always strategizing with Indigenous Intelligence and the best interest of his people in focus.
His multicultural approach to communication opens the door to the possibility of restoring civility to international relationships.
Chairman Tucker was a goodwill ambassador who spoke many languages including one of the most powerful and universal … music. Always cordial and informative when relating to community journalists, he encouraged a liberated style free from corporate control thus creating an unspoken journalistic role model. His innate ability to connect and convey concepts on a human level not only blessed his many friends but it also left a gift and roadmap for those who choose communication as the path to mend a divided world in the name of the great Kumeyaay nation.
We are indebted to you Danny Tucker as you continue your journey.
