22nd annual Strut for Sobriety! recovery awareness event.

This unique fashion and entertainment extravaganza, co-chaired by Liz Crocker and
Judy Lawton will feature a boutique, luncheon, awards ceremony and fashion show.
Co-emcees for the event are media celebrities Geni Cavitt and Rory Devine.
A theatrical fashion show with singers, dancers, professional models, and guest models in recovery will be presented by Gretchen Productions, featuring several local boutiques. A segment of the show will highlight models in recovery.
September is National Alcohol & Drug Addiction Recovery Month. Strut for Sobriety! coincides with efforts made throughout the country to end discrimination against individuals who struggle with substance use disorders. Addiction is a public health problem that affects millions of Americans, regardless of age, cultural background, gender, race, or profession.
The event benefits the mission and projects of A New PATH (Parents for Addiction Treatment & Healing), including lifesaving overdose prevention and naloxone (a safe drug that can reverse an opioid overdose) training and distribution.
A New PATH has been working for 27 years to reduce the stigma associated with addictive illness through education and compassionate support and advocating for therapeutic rather than punitive drug policies.
