I was delighted to attend the recent Downtown Fellowship Pastor's Talk with Matt Soerens, where we discussed the happenings at the World Relief Organization. World Relief assists refugees from all over the world with “Church and Community, Immigration and Legal Services, Case Management, Employment Services, and ESL classes.” The World Relief Program is rooted in Christian ethics and care and aims to help the approximately 120,000 refugees in the US by remembering that Jesus Christ was a refugee and the importance of loving thy neighbor.
