The newly elected Mayor of Allendale, South Carolina, welcomes new residents and businesses to relocate to his town. Mayor Se’ khu Hadjo Gentle has been a longstanding advocate for his Yamasee people and the larger community of Allendale.
Under his leadership the local Yamasee community has developed businesses and held cultural events over the past decade. He has also advocated for the recognition of the Yamasee people’s longstanding contribution to the people of South Carolina.
As Mayor, Mr. Hadjo Gentle, plans to improve the lives of the families of Allendale with several capital improvement plans already in the works.
