NAMI National Alliance on Mental Illness
The National Alliance on Mental Illness has been helping the local San Diego Homeless Community battle mental illness and poverty. They provide Showers, Clothing, Computer Time and hot meals. At NAMI, they are concerned with the Effects of Mental Health Issues on the individual and their families. NAMI has developed a program entitled Children, Youth, Family Liasons where the where they support "workshops, training, speakers, focus groups &webinars". The CYFL program is in conjunction with the Mental Health Service Act that has tirelessly worked promote safe mental health care.
