September, of twenty-five the Hualapai tribe hosted elk hunts on the east side and west side of the reservation. On the first Westside hunt, that was facilitated at Grand Canyon West. The hunter killed a four-0- eight  trophy bull.

Clay Bravo, was the Hunter's guide. Clay Bravo had hunted the Hu-Ala-Pai Indian reservation all his life as a young Indian.  Clay has been a council member for the Hualapai Tribe, at one time in history.

The fish and game department of the Hualapai Indian Reservation hosts the big game hunts.

Today, I remind myself of the childhoods we had. With no street lights, back then we had the old bootleggers. Us children back then used to rob their stash. We were naughty children, but we always held our heads high and stood for our peers. Even as adolescents we got into drugs and saw that life. Educated ourselves to be better, some got an education in the system they call prison. Some went to college. Some worked for what the family needed, and some had children as teens.

We have to honor our eagle ways, of what guides some of us. Growing up as a Christian and understanding the prophet Jesus. Being taught as a child how to sing. Taught our history and language when they taught it in the school curriculum. That was our life, our parents tried but some fell victim to the bottle, victims of diabetes, victims of what life has been and is, in today's society. What is “Life”? I always say you have to walk through “Hell” many times to understand “Heaven”.

Today, it's "Nice" to connect with friends, family and meet others within our connection of "Life". The government says they want us to be equal, but took our lands and our means of being. They don't understand that, we can never be equal. Some of us hold a God- given reality called “Life”. A real insight of creation, but of the “Hu: ba” and “Quad”, first creations. Some of us are just glad to be here in this generation of reality. Some can call the eagle because that's "Hu", they are.

In the history of Ame-rica,  there was a voice from the western hemisphere.  There is a reggae artist that mentions. That when he visited the arid land  of Arizona.  The land, the Mountains were talking to his soul.

Colorado River (Laughlin Nevada)

There is a history of Mohave singers, people- walking with the eagle. There is a history of Chemehuevi singers cleaning their spirits with sanup. At traditional wakes to navigate the launch off.  There is a history of E:y Pai, Upland Pai and Yuman, of a place called “Grand Canyon”- the Haka'ama Baja, Mi uka Pa'a, Ha: Emete Pa’a, Amat Wala Pa'a.- Hu: Wa, of  Hu:wal Tovokova. A people who cultivated vegetables, hunted and honored the “Pine”.  Who were healers but carried a spirit of the past within their soul.

However, it's all a journey of "Life", the flow of the water of the soul and creation. The light of Ja:bay, Ya:we, Ba'gi yo'Va and  Mah: ha.  The light and darkness of the E’nya’ava PAAY '’People of the “Sun”.
