The genocide in Gaza is heartbreaking and infuriating. While the majority of the people of the world and the majority of the American public demand for it to end, our government only amplifies the violence. Since Trump took office, he has increased funding to Israel by over 12 billion dollars. Where is our democracy when the will of the people is ignored?
In violation of the International Court of Justice, Israel continues with impunity its mission of ethnic cleansing. With the support of fewer and fewer countries, Israel continues a policy of forced starvation and continued bombing of Gaza with the full financial support of the United States. While Israel’s Netanyahu and Trump consistently lie when claiming that the violence would stop if Hamas released the hostages, the ribs of young children and their mothers are protruding.
According to Forward, an independent non-profit Jewish newsletter, “If the primary objective were truly the return of hostages, we would expect Israeli policy to prioritize negotiated solutions that guarantee their safe return. However, the pattern of ceasefire negotiations tells a different story. And while all this suffering is endured in Gaza, the president is observed wondering on the roof of the White House. Perhaps wondering how much longer he has before the Epstein Files are fully revealed and his reign of terror comes to an abrupt end. The keystone of the deep state that President Trump had sworn to dismantle was in fact his longtime friend, Jeffrey Epstein. And after promising throughout his entire campaign to release the files, he now claims that they are unimportant and a Democrat conspiracy. And all his goons have fallen in line to distract us from the unnerving reality. Supposing the files are never released, what more evidence does a discerning public really need?
Mounting connections abound. Connections with former President Clinton, Former Israeli Prime Minister Aud Barack, Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, New Mexico Governor Bill Reichardson, Victoria Secret CEO Leslie Wexner, Barclays Banker Jess Staley, Harvey Wienstein, and former Maine Senator George Mitchell to name a few. Alan Dersewitz, the attorney defending Epstein, wrote extensively about the how the age of consent laws should be reduced to 14 years old, an effort perhaps to sidestep culpability. Journalist Nick Bryant uploaded Epstein’s black book to the internet in 2015 which contained the names and numbers of Epstein’s wealthy patrons and also the flight logs of his plane. Most important in these revelations is the need for justice for the victims who numbered over a thousand with some as young as 12.
