Although we’ve entered a new year, my priorities remain the same: lowering costs, increasing public safety, and standing up for all Nevadans.

For many Nevadans, 2025 was a year of having to do more with less. From holiday gifts and groceries to energy and homes, I know that costs are rising. In 2026, I will continue doing everything I can to lower costs and fight President Trump’s tariffs that are making life more expensive for Nevada families.

In 2026, I am also committed to continuing to bolster public safety in the Silver State. Every Nevadan deserves to feel safe in their homes, and since my time as Nevada’s Attorney General, I have fought human trafficking, delivered for law enforcement, and combatted organized crime. In December, I helped pass a bill into law to help human trafficking survivors, and I’m going to continue to work to protect victims and keep our communities safe.

The issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People is particularly important to me, and this year I will continue to reach across the aisle to fight to end this epidemic of violence.

As we enter the second year of the Trump Administration, I know that many communities, including Tribes, are facing uncertainty. I’m committed to standing up for all Nevadans in the face of new and continuing abuses by this reckless and cruel Administration. That’s my job, and whatever this new year brings, I will keep standing up for you, Nevada. Together, we can achieve new heights in 2026.
