“The Last Tlatoani” Film Screening

7:00 P.M. “The Last Tlatoani” Screening of the documentary film directed by Pablo Jato (Spanish)

We will also have pre-Hispanic vegetarian food, crafts, books and ceremonial items.

The documentary is about the discovery of the supposedly known remains of a tlatoani, a trigger for every February, for more than 40 years, thousands of dancers from different places in the country and abroad to come to Ixcateopan de Cuauhtémoc to pay tribute to the last emperor of Tenochtitlan with emotional ceremonies.

This year, WorldBeat Center’s Multi-Cultural Earth Day and our theme is “Together As One”. Our food and our health are threatened by the conventional way of living, but we the people must all come together and be the solution to today’s problems.
