On March 8, 2026, we had the honor of meeting with some of the most forward-thinking minds within the Native American community at our very own World Beat Center. Attendees included Makeda Dread, Pala Casino’s Eric Ortega, Indian Voices’ Rose Davis, and Dana Brown, who discussed issues surrounding important topics such as housing and business. The valuable interaction inspired critical thinking and movement to protect our lands and people through healing and art. We are hoping to continue this development, so look out for our next meeting.
