The latest block grants for Indian Housing can benefit both federally recognized tribes and other Native American organizations, according to BIA and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Presumably, state-recognized tribes are also eligible.

The total funding is $150 million, with a maximum of $7.5 million per grant and a minimum of $500,000.

Grant was posted on September 5, 2025, and the deadline for application is January 15, 2026.
